Can schools use 360Worlds without VR headsets?

Accepted Answer

Yes. 360Worlds works on any classroom screen, tablet, desktop or phone — no specialist VR hardware is required. If you have VR & XR headsets, every experience also runs in full VR.

What subjects does 360Worlds support?

Accepted Answer

History, geography, languages, science and cultural learning. Narrated routes, hotspots and multilingual audio make it useful across the curriculum and for EAL learners.

How much is a school licence?

Accepted Answer

A school licence is one annual licence for one named school. All teachers and pupils at that named school can use 360Worlds, with access to all available worlds. Your licence size is the total number of pupils enrolled at the school, not how many classes use it. Small School (for schools with up to 500 pupils enrolled) — £499 for your first year. Renews at £999/year. School (for schools with 501–1,500 pupils enrolled) — £999 for your first year. Renews at £1,999/year. Large School (for schools with 1,501–3,000 pupils enrolled) — £1,499 for your first year. Renews at £2,999/year. These first-year prices are the Founding School offer for the first 100 schools across all sizes; each licence then renews at its standard annual price. Larger schools (more than 3,000 pupils enrolled), multi-campus schools, trusts or groups: contact us. One licence covers one named school only — another school, another campus, or another school in a trust or group needs a separate or bespoke licence.

Is there a teacher-led mode?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A teacher creates a class, shares a join code, link or QR code, then starts a learning session and leads from the host view. Pupil screens follow the teacher’s scene, narration and video. Headsets stay in the same session, and pupils can still look around freely. See Getting Started for the full setup.
